Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actor. She made her screen debut through the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. She is fluent in French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is a theatre instructor at one of Romania's highest-rated acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in The Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as the first European Shooting Star. She was a teacher at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for four years. bAnamaria Marineca is a Romanian film actress who was born on 1st April 1978 at Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress with Romanian descent, made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her performance in this film. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut film she will also remain in the memory of her part in her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks and 2 days" which earned her many awards including her the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 Months Three Weeks And Two Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two other awards, The Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. In addition, she appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca was a guest in her own Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. She later had a prominent performance in the 2014 film Fury where she portrayed a German woman named Irma aunt of Emma.
