Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is currently an analyst overseeing the Assassination Witness project as well as an integral member of the G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. The GI-TOC research focuses on assassinations in contexts of illegal economies. Her research interests also involve the impact of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. Additionally, she holds an LL.M. and MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree in Legal Sciences as well as Social Sciences. She is a qualified lawyer, having practised at an attorney firm that specialized in litigating in the public sector for more than four years. The past experience she has had also involved working with roles in non-governmental organizations that are headquartered at Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
