Actor and country-pop singer and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the crew of One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. The first three albums she released as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her 2012 eponymous debut album to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album that followed it in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. Her decade culminated with participation in Dancing with the Stars. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. She began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. Gaston spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she was cast in the role as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer played in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played Alex Dupre. The show lasted show until 2012, when the series was cancelled. The singer focused her attention on her singing career, but she also continued acting and starred in films which enticed her fans, including Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer released Thirty One by Warner Music Nashville. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's albums chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. In September the singer was a part of two weeks on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth place. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
