Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely famous American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother at the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model for television and newspaper commercials. Along with learning in private classes, she began her acting career around that time. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy role. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell quit studying in the year 2001, and took on the part of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. The same year, she was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
